摘要: Abstract Calcite is generally associated with apatite minerals in phosphate deposits. To explore the possibility of separating these by a soap flotation technique, their electrokinetic properties and behaviour were studied presence sodium oleate. Microelectrophoresis data indicate oleate adsorption on minerals, from Hallimond-tube tests it has been noted that controlled pH environment for certain concentration range, separation possible. The study apatite/calcite-sodium metasilicate-sodium systems indicates preferential silicate at calcite surface. This suggests potential use metasilicate as modifying agent depressing when using collector.
