摘要: 1Accurate and sensitive survey monitoring methods are needed for shrews. We present a new design of hair tube new, simple method species identification from multivariate analysis four parameters measured shrew guard hairs using binocular microscope with incident light. 2Multivariate these known identity showed that they can be used to identify the level 85% accuracy. 3We compared our indices abundance tubes (the index) those live trapping in 40 field margins. Capture-mark-recapture capture rate did not vary systematically across sites, so number individuals captured was as an index abundance. 4The significant association Sorex araneus Neomys fodiens. The lack minutus may because more detecting this than trapping. 5Hair have additional advantages over trapping, since do require frequent checking, much lighter cheaper traps, no licence is required their use UK. therefore recommend consideration future surveys studies provide equation other researchers method.
