摘要: Although gonadal and adrenal steroids heavily impact sexual function at the level of brain, nervous system also produces its own de novo that may regulate behavior reproduction. Current evidence points to important roles for neurosteroids in gender-typical behaviors, control ovulation, behaviors strongly influence interest motivation like aggression, anxiety depression. At cellular level, act through stimulating rapid changes excitability direct activation membrane receptors neurons. Thus, unlike peripheral steroids, can have immediate specific effects on select neuronal pathways function.
