摘要: The phospholipids ofCorynebacterium diphtheriae, Corynebacterium xerosis, equi andCorynebacterium ovis were examined, largely by chromatographic procedures. In all of these, lipids the phosphoinositide and mannophosphoinositide type prominent. contrast to mycobacteria, mannophosphoinositides corynebacteria dimannophosphoinositides; however, as in these dimannophosphoinositides apparently occurred diacylated triacylated forms—the tetraacylated component prominent mycobacteria was absent. Phosphatidylethanolamine phosphatidylserine also InCorynebacterium diphtheriae major single phospholipid corresponded phosphatidylglycerol: cardiolipin appeared be a lipid. fatty acids corynebacterial distinguished presence branched chain isomers medium length. importance taxonomy actinomycetes related eubacteria is discussed.
