摘要: Soft tissue sarcomas are rare malignant neoplasms accounting for only 1% of tumors in adults. Complete surgical resection is the key to therapeutic success. Indications adjuvant radiation therapy vary according lesion grade. Comprehensive diagnostic imaging significantly contributes successful preoperative planning procedures. Besides morphological imaging, functional strategies will have an increasing impact on individual risk assessment and contribute optimized, non-invasive treatment response monitoring.
