Isokinetic exercise management of temporomandibular joint clicking in young adults

摘要: Temporomandibular joint clicking is frequently a sign of craniomandibular disorders, and the etiologic predisposing, initiating, perpetuating factors must be considered in its management. The present study assesses usefulness isokinetic exercises treatment temporomandibular clicking. At end 6-month test period, 18 22 subjects (approximately 82%) with clicks no longer had clicking, but four 18%) bilateral reciprocal did not lose their clicks. A number proposals have been suggested past as an explanation cause has shown that young adults predominantly neuromuscular origin may reversible condition can treated successfully conservative exercise regimen.
