Delay Critical Smart Grid Applications and Adaptive QoS Provisioning

摘要: Wireless sensor networks (WSNs) are anticipated to be widely adopted in the various monitoring and control applications due their versatility low cost. One of most promising emerging WSNs is use smart grid assets. Although can provide cost efficient reliable solutions, they not suitable for delay critical application, because were initially designed data rate may challenged when sudden faults or failures occur monitored environments. Therefore, prevent extensive delays data, appropriate quality service (QoS) techniques should used. In this paper, we present an adaptive QoS scheme (AQoS) guaranteed time slot (AGTS) allocation IEEE 802.15.4-based used high traffic intensity applications. Both AQoS AGTS schemes adaptively reduce end-to-end flexibly tune GTS required differentiation
