摘要: The paper presents a framework for the nation-wide assessment of natural hazards, vulnerability and risk Republic Georgia. Firstly, relational database was created in order to collect all necessary information available. Secondly, hazard maps were drawn based on an innovative approach assessing magnitude frequency meteorological types, where corresponding formalization not yet satisfying. Thirdly, associated economic losses evaluated presented monetary terms some types (droughts, hurricanes, hail, frost, flash floods earthquakes), while other remained descriptive. Fourthly, inventory, developed that allowed calculation overall value each individual type, using Gross Domestic Product per unit area (applied population) as indicator elements at exposed. correlation between estimated losses, physical exposure six hazards has been investigated detail by multiple linear regression analysis. Economic past events estimated, historical estimated. Finally, spatial distribution general assessed, expected maximum loss calculated well multi-risk map set-up. method will contribute reduction disaster Georgia foster future efforts harmonization management strategies country.
