摘要: The mineral and chemical compositions some of the refractory firing properties eight alunite-bearing clays were investigated. It was found that alunite raises softening temperature clays. Secondary expansion occurs in reheating at temperatures higher than original degree seems to depend uot only on concentration clay but also its characteristics. This is believed be due SO2 or/and gases released by body refiring; these expand high causing bloating body. usefulness thermal analysis detecting small amounts pointed out.
