摘要: Approximately 20% of patients with the limited form scleroderma will develop pulmonary hypertension which is generally a late stage fatal complication. Why occurs in this subset unknown and it has not been possible to predict are at risk. Nailfold capillary dilatation, distortion drop universally an early finding. The present study was conducted investigate whether quantitative nailfold capillaroscopy could distinguish those who have established hypertension. Quantitative performed by Visual Image Analysis 10 healthy subjects 20 (18 centromere +ve), whom 8 had It found that significant reduction density compared lacking complication (p < 0.01). Patients significantly more dilated capillaries than controls although no differences were observe between two patient subgroups. finding reduced pathogenic significance may allow detection subgroup their disease progression.
