摘要: Bovine diseases due to Mycoplasma bovis can cause considerable economic losses in cattle production. While the pathogen is principally responsible for therapy-resistant mastitis on large dairy farms, smaller farms typical mycoplasma are calf pneumonia and arthritis. Moreover, able genital disorders. M. infection be controlled effectively only if appropriate measures implemented at earliest possible stage. Since immunoprophylaxis antibiotic treatment known ineffective, control must include introduction of strict hygiene standards, restriction animal movement out infected herds culling clinically diseased animals shedders (the latter case disorders). In this review, symptoms various caused by described characteristics course outlined. To clarify origin spread infection, authors describe main properties reservoirs summarise experimental evidence modes transmission susceptible organs. As effective diagnosis a prerequisite early measures, advantages disadvantages currently used diagnostic methods discussed detail. It serious shortcoming testing mycoplasmas not included routine bacterial examination clinical samples. consequence, some infections will remain undetected outbreaks cannot properly. Finally, practical recommendations given prevention control, including formation mycoplasma-free herds.
