摘要: Aerobiology and biometeorology are related fields. Here we provide a broad review of aerobiology articles published in the International Journal Biometeorology (IJB) over past 60 years. We consider how quantity such work has varied this period as well which regions countries have been focus work, where there is relative paucity. then on number highlights themes research, including climate change aerobiological modelling forecasting. While much article focusses airborne pollen also discuss extent to other organic particles fungal spores bacteria research IJB. Also considered knowledge gaps needs priorities with respect field aerobiology. IJB one main platforms for presenting recent decades, need embrace new sampling technologies spectral analysis next-generation sequencing identify quantify biological particles.
