摘要: Publisher Summary This chapter describes the working of ear. To simplify analysis functioning human auditory system, it is conventional and useful to divide anatomically into a number subsystems. The most peripheral these subsystems—the external ear—includes not only acoustic effects meatus (ear canal) but also diffraction shadowing produced by head pinna (auricle). middle ear comprises tympanic membrane (drum membrane), three small bones (the ossicles—malleus, incus, stapes), associated cavities, ligaments, muscles. It serves transform vibrations induced in sound waves displacements stapes footplate. A lockage canal an interruption or fixation ossicular motions produce conductive hearing losses. inner cochlea spiral fluid-filled tube cavity temporal bone. he characteristics behavior, properties ear, transduction mechanism.
