摘要: Flow induced vibration problem of an in-service duplex stainless steel piping system was investigated in previous research. The investigation required multiple sets site measurement results at the offshore gas processing platform which raises concerns safety and its practicality. A lab scale mentioned is preferable to study flow different operating conditions better understand dynamic behaviour this system. In addition, most dimensional analyses were performed either solely on structure or fluid System with has never been attempted thus it important perform similitude prior fabrication model. Buckingham Pi theorem applied verified by computational mechanics both qualitatively quantitatively. calculated non-dimensional variables a scaled describing characteristics contribute deformation give similar factor, pattern stress fluid-structure interacted indicating that geometric, kinematic dynamics similarity are achieved.
