摘要: Abstract In situ synchrotron X-ray diffraction was used to follow the formation of corrosion product scales on carbon steel in CO 2 saturated brine at temperatures from 40 90 °C. The process accelerated by applying a small anodic current, and selected tests scale inhibitor, amino trimethylene phosphonic acid (ATMPA), added. Siderite identified as major phase formed all conditions. With increasing temperature, rate increased, while thickness crystallite size decreased. Above 60 °C, became increasingly protective. decreased with ATMPA concentration.
