Lake Louise Water (USGS47): A new isotopic reference water for stable hydrogen and oxygen isotope measurements

摘要: RATIONALE Because of the paucity isotopic reference waters for daily use, a new secondary material has been prepared from Lake Louise water Alberta, Canada, international distribution. METHODS This was filtered, homogenized, loaded into glass ampoules, sealed with torch, autoclaved to eliminate biological activity, and measured by dual-inlet isotope-ratio mass spectrometry. is available case 144 ampoules containing 5 mL in each ampoule. RESULTS The δ(2)H δ(18)O values this are -150.2 ± 0.5‰ -19.80 ± 0.02‰, respectively, relative VSMOW, on scales normalized such that SLAP are, -428 -55.5‰. Each uncertainty an estimated expanded (U = 2uc) about value provides interval 95% probability encompassing true value.
