摘要: Abstract The degree of mechanical reinforcement that could be obtained by the introduction glass fibres in biofibre (pineapple leaf fibre/sisal fibre) reinforced polyester composites has been assessed experimentally. Addition relatively small amount fibre to pineapple and sisal fibre-reinforced matrix enhanced properties resulting hybrid composites. Different chemically modified have used addition fibers as reinforcements enhance surface modification such alkali treatment produced optimum tensile impact strengths, while cyanoethylation resulted maximum increase flexural strength It observed water uptakes are less than unhybridized Scanning electron microscopic studies carried out study fibre-matrix adhesion.
