摘要: Any model of snow avalanches must be able to reproduce velocity profiles. This is a key problem in avalanche science because the profiles are result multitude snow/ice particle interactions that, end, define rheology flowing snow. Recent measurements on real-scale show that change from highly sheared profile at front plug-like tail, preventing application single, simple problem. In this paper, we not only but also evolution profiles, by taking into account production and decay kinetic energy random motion granules. We find generation depends distribution viscous shearing within avalanche. Conversely, magnitude therefore its collisional dissipation. Thus, there self-consistency resolved order predict amount solve stating equations describe avalanches. An important guide form these irreversible. our approach successfully accounts for measured natural
