摘要: Background: Successful strategies for addressing inequalities in cancer care are greatly needed as critical racial/ethnic and socioeconomic burden disparities persist the United States. Patient navigation programs a promising approach to reducing disparities. Methods: A mixed-methods evaluation was conducted systematically collect, analyze share information about context, activities, early impacts of University Pittsburgh Medical Center (UPMC) Cancer Centers' Minority Outreach Pilot Program (MOPP), newly implemented patient navigator intervention.
