摘要: Abstract Tungsten oxide (WO 3 ) and cobalt tungstate (CoWO 4 decorated one-dimensional (Co O nanowire heterostructures were fabricated through a facile cost-effective approach. The process includes vapor–solid growth of nanowires via thermal oxidation method sputtering coating tungsten on the standing Co nanowires. To further modulate structure and/or morphology improve crystallization oxide, product was subjected to post-annealing process, which resulted in free-standing –WO /CoWO multi-component heterostructures. crystal structures, morphologies, chemical composition at each fabrication stage studied detail using microscopy spectroscopy. investigation for first time showed dry processing route formation such novel photocatalytic performance behavior demonstrated degradation water-contaminating organics ( phenol photodegradation process). efficiency final estimated be increased by ∼30% both visible UV illumination as compared with as-produced
