摘要: To report a case of deferoxamine-induced retinopathy characterized by electroretinography (ERG), optical coherence tomography angiography (OCT-A), and other multimodal imaging. This is an observational one patient. Full-field ERG was performed. OCT-A, spectral-domain (SD-OCT), color fundus photography, autofluorescence were used to characterize the induced deferoxamine use. A 64-year-old man with history β-thalassemia intermedia presented worsening visual acuity, nyctalopia, electronegative ERG. OCT-A revealed atrophy choriocapillaris in areas hypoautofluorescence, corresponding regions retinal atrophy. SD-OCT showed disruption ellipsoid zone, granular hyperreflective deposits within pigment epithelium, thinning layers, extensive choroidal sclerosis epithelium. Deferoxamine-induced can manifest maximal responses, be detect toxicity.
