摘要: Publisher Summary This chapter discusses the development, chemistry, and mode of action herbicide antidotes. Organic herbicides represent most effective weapon available to farmers worldwide in their war against weeds. A fundamental reason for widespread use these chemicals modern agriculture is ability control selectively a wide spectrum weeds variety crops. The concept using antidotes offers potential alternative increasing selectivity herbicides. desirable antidote chemical agent that protects crops from injury without protecting result either very specific crop–herbicide–antidote interaction or selective treatment such as dressing crop seeds with antidote. Herbicide are developed primarily through random screening techniques involve combinations important herbicides, major crops, candidate timing applications well differential intraspecific tolerance cultivars plus needs be established optimum effectiveness field.
