摘要: DSM-IV will benefit from the extensive research and interest in diagnosis generated large part by DSM-III. The development of is proceeding through three stages empirical documentation, including literature reviews, analysis unpublished data sets, field trials. This paper discusses rationale, process, limitations reviews. purpose reviews to provide document a comprehensive review clinical facilitate objective empirically based decisions. process guided explicit systematic methods developed within meta-analysis. Limitations are also discussed.
