摘要: This chapter introduces central organizing themes, or core principles, of social ecology: (1) the multifaceted, multilevel structure people's day-to-day environments and broader ecosystems; (2) systems analyses human–environment transactions, feedback loops, equilibrium deviation-amplifying processes, their relevance for understanding enhancing encounters with surroundings; (3) concepts methods identifying contextual influences on people at varying environmental scales; (4) a transdisciplinary action research orientation that emphasizes translation theory into community problem-solving strategies. describes applications ecological ideas to gain more complete interactions environments. An important goal is identify quality surroundings. Dimensions scope ( spatial , temporal sociocultural virtual ) are identified, mapping strategies delimiting system boundaries particular target phenomena described. also offers criteria evaluating validity theories.
