摘要: The components of good and bad deaths have not been well elucidated in the literature. Furthermore, value using narratives palliative care research has extensively explored. We invited people involved (patients, caregivers, physicians, nurses) to tell us their stories deaths, 15 responded. asked them about that they had witnessed describe what a death would be like for them, personally. Several common themes emerged from narratives: free pain, sense life lived, community. Common included painful loss control independence. found use story provided an opportunity create meaning heal both teller listener.
