Screening of Zingiberaceae extracts for antimicrobial and antioxidant activities.

摘要: Dichloromethane and methanol extracts of 13 Zingiberaceae species from the Alpinia, Costus Zingiber genera were screened for antimicrobial antioxidant activities. The activity most was antibacterial with only extract discolor showing very potent antifungal against Aspergillus ochraceous (MID, 15.6 μg per disc). All showed strong comparable or higher that α-tocopherol.
