摘要: The solution structure of two homologous naturally occurring antimicrobial peptides, rabbit defensin NP-2 and human HNP-1, have been determined by two-dimensional nuclear magnetic resonance spectroscopy, distance geometry, restrained molecular dynamics calculations. these defensins consists an antiparallel beta-sheet in a hairpin conformation, short region triple-stranded beta-sheet, several tight turns, loop that has well-defined local but with global orientation is not respect to the rest molecule. structures peptides are compared crystal other defensins. for also known peptides.
