摘要: International private umbilical cord blood banking has expanded rapidly in recent years since the first transplant which was 20 ago. Private companies offer parents opportunity to store for possible future use by their child or other family members. The industry been criticised a number of professional bodies including EU Ethics Committee, Royal College Obstetrics and Gynaecology, Midwives US Paediatrics. This review presents arguments from opponents banking, then makes case based on latest scientific clinical evidence.
