摘要: The factors affecting parting or innerburden stability in level contiguous pillar workings coal mines have been identified as depth of cover, thickness, lateral eccentricity between lower and upper workings, horizontal situ stresses, Rock Mass Rating extraction ratio. A large number two- three-dimensional FLAC models were run covering all these variables to arrive at a suitable predictive equation define support requirement seam workings. Four unstable four stable cases from Indian coalfields modelled using 3D the results satisfactorily compared with equation.
