摘要: The purpose of this chapter is to document some the data and thinking that have arisen over last 20 years concerning late Quaternary Australasian extinctions vegetation change. It also gives a brief overview megafaunal bestiary, state understanding timing human arrival in Australasia. concludes by developing further hypothesis first elaborated Flannery (1994a) nature, timing, consequences extinction Australasia, presents new, testable hypothesis.
