摘要: Abstract The structure of perovskite-like BaTbO 3 has been reinvestigated by high-resolution powder neutron diffraction at room temperature using HRPD the ISIS Facility. It shown that neither space group R c nor Pnma describes correctly its structure. profile refinement demonstrated is tetragonal, I4 / mcm , with cell parameters a =6.04832(4) A and =8.58569(10) A. This result in agreement conclusions Woodward, unlikely adopted 2+ B 4+ O -type perovskites.
