Risk Factors of Traumatic Injuries to the Upper Incisors

摘要: Purpose: The purpose of this study was to determine the frequency upper incisors crown trauma and its relationship orthodontic anomalies, as well influence age, gender occlusal characteristics. Material Methods: In 580 subjects (302 boys 278 girls) between 7 15 years were randomly selected from several primary schools in Republic Croatia. Following characteristics examined: incisor trauma, gender, skeletal relationship, exposure, interlabial distance, overjet maximum vertical opening mandible. Results: found total 12.4% frequency. It more frequent (17.8%) than girls (6.5%). most type a non-complicated affecting only enamel (80%). Conclusions: not related size mandible, malocclusion overjet. Subjects with greater distance exposure had shown risk trauma.
