摘要: NFV management and orchestration (MANO) systems are being developed to meet the agile flexible requirements of virtualized network services in 5G era beyond. In this regard, ETSI ISG has specified a standard MANO system that is used as reference by vendors well open-source projects. However, absence specific KPIs, it difficult for users make an informed decision on choice better suited their needs. Given any formal KPIs basis which performance can be quantified, benchmarked compared, left with simply comparing claimed feature set. It thus motivation paper highlight challenges testing validating general, propose KPIs. Based proposed we analyze compare two most popular projects, namely ONAP OSM, using complex vCPE VNF identify features/performance gaps. addition, also provide sketch test-jig been designed benchmarking systems.
