摘要: Neuropsychological assessment reveals that certain cognitive changes take place during the neural development process may be associated with biopsychosocial issues. A substantial body of research has focused on in children and adults, but few such studies have been carried out adolescents. Therefore, into processing neuropsychological functions adolescents, taking account role major socio-cultural factors as school type (public vs. private), is highly relevant. The present study sought to assess whether differences exist between adolescent students public (government-funded) private schools. total 373 grade-matched ages 12 18, 190 from schools 183 schools, took part study. All subjects had no self-reported neurologic or psychiatric conditions sensory disorders. NEUPSILIN Brazilian Brief Assessment Battery was administered this sample. Comparison mean scores (one-way ANCOVA socioeconomic score age covariates) showed adolescents attending generally outperformed their public-school peers tasks involving sustained attention, memory (working visual), dictated writing, constructional reflective abilities. We conclude should taken standardization instruments for and, probably, child populations.
