摘要: Major advances have been made in the various “omics” fields recent years, driven by new genomics technology, particularly DNA sequencing and high-throughput genotyping. The ability to interrogate genome of diverse organisms enables characterization allelic variants underlying important agronomic traits. Advances bioinformatics support analysis genomic data flood, applied informatics has grown rapidly over years parallel with expansion genomics. As we face perfect storm increasing population climatic variation, genomics, phenomics related research, supported bioinformatics, offer greatest potential for accelerating food production sustainability. An number crop genomes are being sequenced, large-scale diversity studies, performed at whole level, undertaken major crops. this is facilitated customized databases, statistical methods visualization tools. Through integration interrogation application these resources improvement, maintain improve security during a period climate variability.
