Lead in the urban environment — Studying the strong decline in Germany

摘要: Abstract Two matrices were selected representatively demonstrating the lead contamination history in German urban environment: Lead concentrations sewage sludge ash reported for period between 1972 and 1992 exhibiting a reduction of 88% down to relative level 0.12 (1972 = 1). Additionally, samples common grass proximity motorway analyzed 1973 show decrease 85%. The whole efforts reducing input is reflected samples. Alkyl leaded gasoline consumption data, which 0.076 (92.4% less) same period, compared with measured values ash. “delay” environmental response discussed.
