Versatile and controlled functionalization of polyferrocenylsilane‐b‐polyvinylsiloxane block copolymers using a N‐hydroxysuccinimidyl ester strategy

摘要: A general route for the N-hydroxysuccinimidyl (NHS) ester functionalization of poly(ferrocenyldimethylsilane)-b-polyvinylsiloxane copolymers, which should be readily transferrable to other vinyl containing polymers, has been developed using a simple two step approach. Facile reaction NHS functionalized polymers with primary amines enables incorporation range functionalities previously inaccessible standard thiol-ene “click” reactions. © 2015 Wiley Periodicals, Inc.
