摘要: Abstract Concentrations of antimony have been determined for paints and enamels that are available to the consumer or accessible public by x-ray fluorescence spectrometry. The metalloid was only present in a speciality (e.g. artistic) nature, but common old household as an anti-chalking agent brightly-coloured contemporary exterior (on roads, street furniture playground equipment, example) colour fastener with concentrations ranging from few hundred about 25,000 μg g−1. Antimony also found container glass ceramic products additive opacifier at up thousand μg g−1. Overall, yellow pigment, lead antimonate, evident two analysed, Sb exceeding 62,800 μg g−1. Available data literature suggests that, while 30 μg g−1 bioaccessible 20 mg L−1 migratable some ceramicware, no relevant regulations currently place. Given our lack understanding health impacts Sb, more studies on its toxicity mobility commonly encountered called for.
