摘要: The formation of social attachments is a critical component human relationships. Infants begin to bond their caregivers from the moment birth, and these bonds continue provide regulatory emotional functions throughout adulthood. It difficult examine interactions between experience biological origins complex behaviors because children undergo both brain development accumulate at same time. We had rare opportunity who were reared in extremely aberrant environments where they deprived kind care-giving typical for our species. present experiment nature provides insight into role early on systems underlying behavior. These data indicate that vasopressin oxytocin neuropeptide systems, which are establishment regulation behaviors, affected by experience. results this suggest potential mechanism whose atypical function may explain pervasive difficulties observed many have experienced care-giving. findings consistent with view there basic aspects
