摘要: Uncertainty in the supply of Class F fly ash due to impending environmental restrictions has made it imperative find and test alternate sources supplementary cementitious materials (SCMs) that can provide similar strength durability benefits concrete as ash. This project summarizes key findings research was conducted characterize evaluate performance eight natural pozzolans, commercially available Texas, assess their potential replacements concrete. Of pozzolans tested, six were found be viable alternatives for Methods further enhance these SCMs explored guidelines are provided on optimum SCM replacement levels different applications.
