摘要: To examine the usefulness of Dorsiflexion Assist Controlled by Spring Ankle-Foot Orthoses (DACS-AFO), 5 hemiplegic patients in Brunnstrom's recovery stage IV were prescribed DACS-AFO, after which their gait with DACS-AFO was clinically evaluated. Clinical observation did not reveal that better than an AFO usually used, except when one patient walked on a slope. No significant difference 10 m walking time found between and shoehorn type used. Subjective evaluations indicated as good flat sloped surfaces, though its weight, noise, appearance caused cylinder regarded poor. In spite excellent biomechanical characteristics adopt it. The subjects this study had already well own AFO, selection may have been biased toward poor results. However, we conclude is superior to for IV.
