摘要: The purpose of this study is to investigate economic well-being issues related student loan debt. sample used for was extracted from the Baccalaureate and Beyond survey. focus extent which repayment debt a financial hardship graduates. Two debt-to-income ratios 1) total monthly payments over household income 2) educational are as outcome variables. How students pay higher education critical component family public policy. achieved through analyses data approximately 6,500 who graduated four-year institution in United States 1992-1993. results indicate that cohort, conditions time, benefits borrowing acquire college outweigh costs having repay loans.
