摘要: Tropical rainforest habitats are the most biologically diverse and spatially heterogeneous landscapes on earth, including a bewildering variety of life forms organized into complex three-dimensional lattice. Sumatran forests contain enormous numbers plant species, some which present at low densities, dominant tree species vary with elevation, soil structure, other landscape features, geographic region (Whitten et al. 2000). Natural anthropogenic disturbances produce diversity microhabitats within each general habitat type. Plant dispersal dynamics, interactions among or individuals habitats, plant-animal may also result in uneven distributions plants across space (Condit 2000; Silva Tabarelli 2001). Therefore, unit area contains set that differs least slightly from adjacent area. Accordingly, for territorial animal utilize resources, actual relative availability specific foods given month substantially between territories, even neighboring groups.
