摘要: Abstract Much has been made of the environmental dark side China's economic boom. Public health challenges, large-scale migration and diminishing opportunities are all costs incurred by China from country's failure to integrate protection development successfully. Now leaders attempting use transition a market economy integration into global help protect environment, advancing policies such as green gross domestic product, tradable permits, leadership multinationals national model cities. The success these policies, however, rests on broader more fundamental set institutional reforms that would promote transparency, rule law official accountability, thus remains in question.
