摘要: The unique advantages of LIBS as an analytical tool to determine chemical composition has resulted in strong interest developing the technology for space exploration. To place capabilities context, a brief review will be presented prior missions Moon, Mars, and Venus along with discussion past current instrumentation used analysis planetary surfaces. development close-up stand-off measurements directed toward exploration discussed including recent laboratory work instrument designs future missions. ChemCam currently operating on Mars Curiosity rover also described.
