摘要: Predicting the behaviour of a submarine operating close to free surface is important in order assess merits particular designs, identify operational characteristics, and determine safe envelope. To predict near requires both mathematical model that captures dynamics motion, an understanding additional forces moments generated region. In past, manoeuvring models published literature have neglected effect presence surface, thus authors are developing coefficient based incorporating effects operation. The hydrodynamic coefficients required for obtained using Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) validated against results from captive experiments Australian Maritime College (AMC) towing tank. This paper describes can be added existing account vertical plane, SUBOFF geometry. Validated CFD predictions acting on generic presented along with empirically equations them.
