摘要: Abstract of the Disclosure Disclosed is synthetic lamellar magnesium phyllosilicate, which has as main component a composition represented by following formula: Mg3Si4O10(OH)2?nH2O (1) wherein n number up to 5, and X-ray diffraction peaks at spacings 4.5-4.6 .ANG., 2.5-2.6 .ANG. 1.5-1.6 lamination asymmetry index (Is) defined Is = tanO2/tanO1 (2) O1 stands for angle formed peak perpendicular tangent on small side in spacing O2 large said peak, least 3.0, BET specific surface area 300 m2/g Methylene Blue decolorizing power (JIS K-1470) 100 m?/g. This phyllosilicate prepared process comprising subjecting active silicic acid or aluminosilicic an oxide hydroxide compound capable forming under reaction conditions hydrothermal treatment.
