摘要: Background Dengue is a vector-borne disease in the tropical and subtropical region of world transmitted by mosquito Aedes aegypti. In state Amazonas, Brazil during 2011 outbreak dengue all four Dengue virus (DENV) serotypes circulating simultaneously were observed. The aim study was to describe clinical epidemiology Manaus, capital city where DENV co-circulating simultaneously. Methodology Patients with acute febrile illness dengue, enrolled at Fundacao de Medicina Tropical Dr. Heitor Viera Dourado (FMT-HVD), referral centre for infectious diseases invited participate virological descriptive study. Sera from 677 patients analyzed RT-nested-PCRs flaviviruses (DENV 1–4, Saint Louis encephalitis virus-SLEV, Bussuquara virus-BSQV Ilheus virus-ILHV), alphavirus (Mayaro virus-MAYV) orthobunyavirus (Oropouche virus-OROV). Principal Findings Only viruses detected 260 (38.4%). Thirteen co-infected more than one serotype six (46.1%) them had severe presentation disease. Nucleotide sequencing showed that DENV-1 belonged genotype V, DENV-2 Asian/American genotype, DENV-3 III DENV-4 II. Conclusions Co-infection This finding should be warning signs health authorities situations large dispersal are occurring world.
