摘要: Abstract The spatial behaviour of the red fox Vulpes vulpes shows a great flexibility (Voigt and Macdonald, 1984). Home range size varies from 10 to over 5000 ha (Macdonald, 1987; Voigt, 1987). In carnivores, variations in home size, weighed for body mass (Gittleman Harvey, 1982), are largely related differences habitat productivity, but intraspecific local variation can be only partially explained by productivity. Macdonald (1981, 1983) suggested that configuration were determined dispersion food-rich patches. More recently, it has been found 1. (a) where humans intolerant fox, resting sites often located peripherally ranges (Meia Weber, 1993); 2. (b) ranging foxes cannot features food resources complex environment with several productive habitats (Cavallini Lovari, 1994); 3. (c) may directly distance between rest patches (Lucherini et al., press). this paper, evidence strong influence richness on is reported.
