摘要: The design of the bioreactor for a specific biological process is determined by variety considerations including: properties agent — cells(s) or enzyme(s) nature raw material substrate, and desired specification product, batch continuous process, mixing gas exchange requirements, sterility maintenance, control validation, technoeconomic considerations. Suitable designs systems microbial fermentations have evolved withstood test time in industrial processes especially last 40 years. impetus development bioreactors cultivation animal cells arose from basic hybridoma technology demand monoclonal antibody production capability. Industrial use products plant cell culture also relatively recent innovation with Mitsui Petrochemical Company, Japan, developing first commercial shikonin Lithospermum erythrorhizon. A are used enzyme bioconversions biocatalyst present isolated form whole cells. In addition, may be bioconversion medium free immobilized form.
